Rise Sustainability & ChewingRice: Supporting Gender Inclusion at NETIS

ChewingRice and Rise Sustainability have an ongoing partnership that brings together complementary expertise to deliver meaningful change. Recently, we worked together on behalf of Proparco to support NETIS, a pan-African telecommunications company, in advancing its gender equality goals.

The wider project included multiple actions to empower female staff and strengthen recruitment, while our role focused on creating a strategy for a community-building initiative for women inside Netis. This initiative was designed to provide a supportive network within the organisation and to contribute to longer-term gender inclusion.

ChewingRice delivered a bilingual strategy document (English and French) and facilitated a train-the-trainer workshop, ensuring Netis staff were equipped to roll out and sustain the initiative internally.

This collaboration with Rise Sustainability reflects a shared commitment to practical, scalable approaches to gender equality — combining strategic design with local ownership to create lasting impact.
