Activating the Next Generation: A Climate Platform for Emerging Leaders

How can young innovators lead the charge toward a net zero future? Ahead of COP26 and COP27, we partnered with the British Council to design #DestinationZero — a platform that put emerging voices from the Global South at the centre of climate action.

Through social media campaigns, online learning sessions, and mentorship opportunities, we created a space where youth-led ideas could shine and scale.

The impact:

• Reached 1M+ people worldwide

• Submissions from 42 countries across 16 time zones

• 20 young innovators received grants to bring their ideas to life

• Supported by 10 leading industry mentors

By combining education, storytelling, and mentorship, the programme proved that when young people are given the right tools and visibility, they can drive real climate innovation.
